MAY 20TH LITTLE EGG HARBOR GRAND PRIX CANCELED DUE TO FIRE EMERGENCY! THERE IS A RAGING FOREST FIRE BURNING OUT OF CONTROL IN THE AREA!

THE MAY 20TH EVENT WILL BE RESCHEDULED FOR SOME TIME IN THE FALL!!!!!!!
As most of you are aware by now there was a major forest fire burning in southern Ocean and Burlington Counties not very far for our Little Egg Harbor location.
FIRE STORY#1, FIRE STORY#2, FIRE STORY#3 FIRE STORY #4 The fire is now out but both fire companies as well as the emergency squads are worn-out from fighting the fire and will not be available for the weekend. Without their support we can't have the race. Considering everything that happened down here this week I think a race is the last thing, both of these communities need right now.

We’re going to reschedule the May 20th event for the fall.

On what happend it's still under investigation but, thousands of acres have been lost and many homes were damaged. Because of this weeks events we have decided to postpone this weekends event until the fall.
